Course Summary:
This workshop is designed to equip delegates with a fundamental understanding of written communication in the business environment so that they can write quickly, correctly and effectively - with confidence.

Assessments are done throughout the course in the form of written knowledge questionnaires and practical assignments that the delegates are required to complete as part of the training experience.

Target Audience:
The workshop is for any employee who is involved in situations where effective written communication skills are required.

None

Course Objectives:
After completing this workshop, the qualifying learner is able to:

  • To give delegates a complete understanding of modern business English and to give them practice in the principles and sub-skills of good writing
  • To give delegates skills in planning, structuring, writing and editing business letters, memos, meeting documents and other written business communications
  • To build confidence and competence through exercises and writing of the communications and to consolidate this with on-going individual feedback and encouragement.
