Learn how to install, customize, operate, and administer IBM MQSeries on a Windows NT/2000 or a UNIX platform, from installation, configuration, day-to-day administration, recovering from problems, to managing security and performance.
System Administrators supporting MQSeries on a Windows NT/2000 or UNIX platform.
The participant should have a conceptual knowledge of MQSeries, such as might be gained in the MQSeries Fundamentals course or equivalent experience, plus knowledge about installing software products on the Windows or UNIX platforms.
Course Objectives:List the main options to be considered when designing a message queuing application
Install the MQSeries software on the chosen platform
Define and use MQSeries queue managers
Define and use various static and dynamic queues
Describe how data is passed between MQSeries programs using messages and queues
Pass reply messages, confirmation messages and exception messages, and correlate them
After completing this course, the student should be able to:
